Donald Wagner, 84, of Kenosha, passed away, Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Manor Care Health Services – Kenosha.
Born on April 20, 1925 in Kenosha, WI, he was the son of the late Andrew and Mina (Wagner) Wagner.
Donald was a lifelong resident of Kenosha. He served in the US Army during WWII.
On September 8, 1956, he married Catherine Packman.
Donald was employed at the Kenosha News for 40 years until his ill health caused him to retire.
Donald liked bowling and golfing. He was an avid Green Bay Packer and White Sox fan. He also enjoyed doing word searches and visiting friends.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Wagner of Kenosha; his children, Scott (Betsy) Wagner and Laurie (Debbie Smith) Wagner both of Kenosha; his brother, Delor Jack Wagner of Kenosha and three grandchildren, Sasia Wagner, Kally-Jo Wagner, David (Kerri) Owens all of Kenosha.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his foster daughter, Julie Anne Miller and a sister, Joyce Draves.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 27th at 1:00 p.m. at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
