Gary T. Huron, 47, of Kenosha, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010 at his residence.
Born on April 28, 1962, in Dover, NJ, he was the son of the late Roy and Jean (Stone) Huron.
Gary served in the US Navy from 1983 until his Honorable discharge in 1989. He served aboard the U.S.S. O’Bannon as a fire control man.
On September 6, 1986, he married Linnea Apostoli at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church in Kenosha.
For several years he was employed at Autonics U.S.A. in Vernon Hills, IL.
Gary was a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church. He enjoyed spending time with family, working in the yard and was a master of useless trivia. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his daughter.
Survivors include his wife, Linnea Huron; his daughter, Andrea Huron; mother-in-law, Sharon Apostoli all of Kenosha; a brother, David Huron of CA; two sisters, Wendy (Junior) Carmona and Donna Huron both of New Jersey as well as many nieces and nephews who knew him as Uncle Goo.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6th at 11:30 a.m. at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the family would be appreciated.
