Jeffrey B. Christensen, 51, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.
Born on October 26, 1958, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of James and Darlene (Amundsen) Christensen.
On October 7, 1989, he married Kathy “Kat” McIntosh in Island Lake, IL.
Jeffrey was employed by Honeywell in Lincolnshire, IL for 25 years. His favorite thing in life was being Kathy’s husband and “Uncle Jeff” to all of his many nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy “Kat” Christensen of Pleasant Prairie, WI; his parents, James B. and Darlene Christensen of Spring Hill, Florida; a brother, David (Donna) Christensen of Round Lake Park, IL; a sister, Cathy (Randy) Grahame of McHenry, IL. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Just Boyd and Mollie Christensen and his maternal grandparents, Olaf and Cecilia Amundsen.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 19th at 2:00 p.m. at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
