Irwin D. Schneider, 80, of Kenosha, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010 at United Hospital Systems St. Catherine’s.
Born on November 2, 1929, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Hubert and Anna (Novak) Schneider.
For many years he owned and operated TAG Cleaners in Chicago.
Irv enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles and gadgets.
He is survived by his lifelong companion of 22 years, Joaquina Flint; three daughters, Linda (William) Bogseth of Chicago, IL, Patricia DiSilvestro of Park Ridge, IL and Susan (Tim) Perek of Arlington Heights, IL; seven grandchildren, Brent, Rocky, Jenny, Anthony, Derek, Kristen and Matthew; six great grandchildren; his two nephews, Bob and Scott Schmidt and six great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by other family and friends.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine Smolin.
